The North Dakota District LLL Disaster Response Team participated in a roofing project, because of damage caused by a hail storm in late 2006, on the Don Brandenburg farm to raise funds for financing some the District LLL activities. This project was completed on two different week-ends, May 3-5 and September 6-7. Fourteen people from around the district participated in the project. The funds raised were split between the following: Mission Scholarship Program, Young Family Convention Scholarship, Saint Andrew Mission Society Bus Wrap, Global Work and Witness Scholarships, International Lutheran Laymen’s League, and the District General Fund.
