Winter Show Booth- March 5-7, 2010
The LLL Booth at the Winter Show will be in the south exhibit building, hopefully the same location as last year. The booth is to be ready for viewing by noon on Friday, March 5th. Bill will take care of this and man the booth until 7PM that evening. If anyone would like to join him he would appreciate having more people there with him. Other times that volunteers are needed will be Saturday, March 6th, starting at 9AM until 7PM. On Sunday March 7th, the booth opens at 11AM and closes at 5PM. Bill will be there by 5PM to help take down the booth. Volunteers are needed to sign up for 2-3 hrs shifts, with 3-4 people at each shift. Project Connect booklets have been purchased, plus other supples for children. These materials are always the big draw for most people. There are three Bibles for the adult drawing prizes and three children's prizes. If anyone is interested in manning the booth contact Bill Rahlf. The sooner the better. Bill can be reach at the information below. Thank you in advance for your help with this project of the NDLLL. LLL Chinese Ministry
On July 30, 2007, Ruth and Paul, the two LLL sponsored Chinese Missionaries, started their trek back to China. They had been in the United States for 2 years, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Chinese population in the Fargo-Moorhead area. We would like to report some of the results of their work. While they were in ND, five Chinese were baptized and joined St. Andrew Lutheran Church in West Fargo. To this day, there are numerous Bible Studies going on, reaching approximately 10 non-Christians each week. The Chinese population in the Fargo-Moorhead area is a transient population, as they are mostly students, working on advanced degrees. There is no way to count the number of lives that have been touched through their work and their ministry here in the U.S. Due to the transparency of the internet and the treatment of some Christians in China, we chose not to put specifics on this website. If you would like more information or want to hear some of the stories about this ministry, please contact Kirk or Judy Rosin at krosin at juno.com. They would be happy to share information on the Chinese Ministry with you, your church or group. |
